Keeping Up

I totally understand it.  It’s hard to keep up with a fitness routine.  I’m struggling with it myself right now.  No rest for the weary, I finished with one job and now move on to another.  I’m close to graduation for massage therapy school, keeping the gym afloat and most importantly being a single parent.  Training?  Pff, who has time for that?

I should.

Life is so much easier with daily exercise.  It improves brain function, sleep, makes daily activities easier, gives you energy… the list of benefits is too long to list here.  Potential injury and time invested are the only 2 things that come to my mind as a negative.  So why is it so hard to get into the gym and workout for an hour?

Because it isn’t a part of our day!

So starting tomorrow, I pledge that fitness shall be a part of my day.  No matter the circumstance.  No matter the pressure that daily life adds on.  You cannot take care of other if you fall apart.

So take the time!  Even if it’s a 10 minute walk with a purpose.  Doing your push-ups and planks.  Stretching.  Medicine Through Movement.  I promise I will.
