I’m Back!

It’s been a hectic couple of months!

For those that can’t tell, we moved into the big time.  From a 400 square foot garage to a 3000 square foot warehouse in a 3 month period.  We’ve got 50 members are a looking for a lot more.  It’s scary and fun and I couldn’t imagine doing anything else!  I want to take this time to thank all the members.  Without you this wouldn’t be possible.  Those that believe in supporting a small gym, finding a strong community and making it your own.  I couldn’t be more grateful for you and I hope you all know how very proud of you all I am.  A big thank you to my staff, Doug and Macie and Tiffany.  You held it down when I had to leave, you hold it down when I’m here and I couldn’t do it without you.  You guys rock.  Gary, you are the real MVP.  I would’ve been sunk if you hadn’t been there with our late nights and long days.  2 tons worth, and I’ve got the receipts to prove it.

So where do we go looking forward?

The 6 Week Fitness Challenge is an ever evolving idea.  I hope it never becomes “just another” part of the business.  I hope that it changes and shapes itself to fit the needs of the people that it helps.  The Challenge itself will never change: we are always looking to change someone’s life completely around.  How I deliver it will change as our needs change.  I’m aiming for October to be the biggest Challenge we’ve ever done!  You shouldn’t wait for January and the false promises of a New Years Resolution.  Come in and CRUSH it every damn day.  The best time to start was yesterday.  Today is the second best.

I know life gets in the way of training.  I know the holidays, the illness, the injury, the family, the job, the endless minutia that keeps you from being the strongest you can.  I’m guilty of it myself.  But I’ve got to tell you, LIFE is a lot harder when you don’t get exercise.  When you don’t move your body as it’s supposed to move, everything else in your life slows down.  Get back in the gym.  You’ll never finish a workout and regret it.  Medicine Through Movement.

So let’s make the rest of September and October a time of setting and CRUSHING goals.  I know I’ve set some pretty big ones for myself and my team.  What are yours?
